Before you install
01Do I need a separate account for each device?
No. One Chatonio account signs you in everywhere — desktop, iOS, and the browser all share the same inbox, the same conversations, and the same team.
02Are the desktop and mobile apps free?
Yes. They're free companion clients for your existing Chatonio plan — there's no separate app subscription. You still need an active workspace to sign in.
03When is Android coming?
It's in active development. We don't have a fixed release date yet, but it's on the roadmap and will reuse the same account and inbox as everything else.
04Why does Windows warn me when I open the installer?
The Windows build isn't code-signed yet, so SmartScreen shows an unknown-publisher prompt on first run. Choose More info, then Run anyway — the installer itself is unchanged from the one we built and released.
05What happens if I close the app or lose signal?
Nothing waits on you. The AI keeps handling the conversation server-side regardless of which apps you have open, and escalates to a human the moment it's genuinely needed.
